Robert M. Radasch
Of Arlington Heights

Robert M. Radasch Capt. Ret. USNR, was born on December 30, 1922 in Keokuk, Iowa to Henry and Eloise (nee Dietz) Radasch. He died Monday, February 6, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Radasch worked as a Supply Officer in the Navy from 1945 to 1970. After retiring as a Captain in the Navy, Mr. Radasch served as Deputy Financial Director of the Chicago School Board from 1970 to 1988. He was a 32nd degree Mason who enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts, boating on Lake Michigan, pheasant hunting with his sons and working in his yard.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sara (nee Bell); his sons, Robert Jr. (Jill) Radasch and R. Scott Radasch; his grandchildren, Madison M. and Jordan S. Radasch; and his brother, Richard D. Radasch; .

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Friday, February 10, 2012 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 10:00 AM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Ft. Sheridan Post Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Boy Scouts of America (www.scouting.org) or to the Shriners Hospital, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60635.
