Marilyn Jane Holbrook was born December 4, 1927 in Chicago to George and Marian Falk. She died Saturday, February 26, 2011 peacefully at her home in Arlington Heights, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband George of 61 years; her children, Linda (Greg) Briggs, Karen (Steven) Zarcone, Mary, Paul, Brian (Megan) , and Nancy (Joe) Siara; her daughter-in-law, Maria; her grandchildren, Kristen (Randy), Matt, Jeff, Jessica, Andrew, Sarah, Catherine, Lauren, Johnny, Maggie, Gracie, Matthew, Jake, Nolan, and Kyle; and her great-grandchildren, Audrey and Emelia.

She is preceded in death, by the devastating loss of her son John, her parents and her two brothers George Jr. “ Buddy” and Don.

Visitation from 9 until time of prayers at 11:15 AM, Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 12:00 PM. Interment Private.
