Emily A. Smith was born on September 23, 1920 to Michael and Anna Jankowski in Chicago. She passed away on February 23, 2011 in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her children; Kenneth Smith of Darien and Susan Smith of Sugar Grove.

Emily is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kenneth Smith; and her sisters, Lillian Rysick and Alice Potocki.

Visitation Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674-0001.
