Spencer S. Laskie

Spencer was born on July 24, 1981 to Thomas J. and Susan S. (nee Smith) Laskie in Arlington Heights. He passed away on February 21, 2011.

He graduated from Prospect High School in 2000, the University of Dayton in 2004 and attended St. Thomas Law School in Miami, Florida. Spencer worked as a Program Manager at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston.

Spencer is survived by his parents, Thomas J. Laskie of Chicago and Susan S. Laskie of Wilmette; his sister, Sarah (Andrew) Johnson of Iowa City, IA; his nephews, Parker, Drake and Bradley Johnson of Iowa City, IA; many aunts, uncles, cousins and was loved by all.

Spencer is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert (Eleanor) Smith and Raymond (Genevieve) Laskiewicz.

Visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Private.
