Martin George Harnisch was born on October 6, 1940 to Frank and Mary (nee Lulich) Harnisch. He passed away on February 19, 2011 in Joliet.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Delores (nee Weiss) Harnisch; his children, Diane (Robert) Horne of Johnsburg, Debra Harnisch of Schaumburg and Donna Harnisch of Coralville, IA; his grandson, Braeden Horne; his brothers, John (Ann), Charles (Judy) and Frank (Kathy) Harnisch and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Friday, February 25, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Long Grove Community Church, 1110 Robert Parker Coffin Rd., Long Grove. Burial will be in Long Grove Community Church Cemetery.
