Gloria Ann Parypinski was born March 20, 1937 in Oak Park to Walter and Victoria (nee Cychner) Melcher. She died on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Matthew A. Parypinski; her children, Jeffrey (Beverly) Parypinski, and Cheryl (Mark) Redini; her grandchildren, Mallory and Joanna Parypinski, and Sara, Julie, and Robert Redini; and nieces and nephews, Dale (Paulette) Kolcz, Ed (Megan) Kowalski, Vicky (Tim) Reidy, and Wendy Henderson.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Mildred Kolcz.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment is at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 500 N. Dearborn, Suite 350, Chicago, 60654-3387.
