Gertrude A. Balsavich

Gertrude A. Balsavich was born on August 7, 1905 in Chicago to Jacob and Sophie (nee Drezmal) Swiatek. She died on February 5, 2011 in Long Grove.

Mrs. Balsavich is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Carl) Stevens; grandchildren, Joan (Dale) Little, Carolyn (Robert) Alexander, Cynthia Bannon, David (Karen) Bell, Jane (John) Young, Roger (Linda) Bell and Janice (Greg) Minogue; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Balsavich; her children, Baby Joan Balsavich and Frank (Rose) Bell; her parents and her siblings, Alvina, Mae, Stanley, Victoria, Anna, Joseph, Elsie and Frank.

Visitation 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass a10:00 AM, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
