Ruby Lois Schlatterer
Of Arlington Heights

Ruby Lois Schlatterer was born on January 6, 1932 to John and Ruby (nee Brown) Owens in Chicago. She passed away on January 31, 2011 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Before retiring Mrs. Schlatterer was the Circulation Manager for the Daily Herald for over 20 years.

Ruby is survived by her children, Donald J. (dear friend Chris Koprowski) Schlatterer and Sharon (Michael) Loughnane; her grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Johannsen, Elizabeth and Lorie Schlatterer; her great grandchildren, Madison, Margaret, and McKenzie Johannsen; her brother, David (Gloria) Owens; and her friends Tena and Mike Opalka, Lauren Opalka and Becky Basham

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Schlatterer and her son, Robert Schlatterer.

Visitation from 3:00 until 6:00 PM, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
