Mary D. Nowak was born October 31, 1923 in Chicago to Charles and Elizabeth Dickman. She died February 13, 2010 at Centegra Hospital in Woodstock.

Mary lived most of her life in Chicago then moved to Arlington Heights the last 10 years, after the passing of her husband. She was a former parishoner of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her siblings Jean (Stephen) O’Malley of Hinsdale, Ruth (Richard) Henderson of Arlington Heights and Rita (Robert) Wahl of Batavia and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gerard A. Nowak.

Visitation from 9 AM until the time of prayers of 10:15 AM, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Mass 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery .
