Josephine June Hanlon
Of Peoria, Arizona, formerly of Chicago

Josephine June Hanlon was born June 12, 1916, in Washington, IL to Noah D. and Anna Barbara (nee Summer) Hartzler. She passed away February 7, 2009, in Arlington Heights.

Josephine was a volunteer at Evangelical Child and Family Agency and also with numerous children’s ministries including her latest, Trinity Bible Church in Phoenix, AZ. Her husband, the late Robert L. Hanlon, II was a 50-year member of Steamfitters Local 597 of Chicago.

She is survived by her children Robert L. (Barbara MacDowall) Hanlon, III, of Arlington Heights and Larry Allan (Carolyn) Hanlon of Alpharetta, Georgia; her grandchildren Robert (Jodi) Hanlon IV, Daniel Hanlon, Kimberley (Matthew) Klos, Rebecca Hanlon, and Ryan (Erin) Hanlon, and step-grandmother of Michael Jurenas and Jennifer (Richard) Jacobs; her great grandchildren Nicholas, Jacob, Sarah Klos, Robert V (Quinn), Jessica Klos, Sydney, Aidan Klos, Laura, Alexandria, and Bailey, and step great-grandchildren Evan and Lauren Jacobs; her sisters Louise (William) Wenger, and Pauline ( the late Roger) Anderson, also many devoted nieces and nephews.

Josephine was preceded into death by her parents, her sisters Berniece Antelman, Wilma Baker, Miriam Ballou and Annabelle Hartzler.

A Memorial Service to be held June 25, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at 1st Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights.
