Evelyn L. Wertz, formerly of Chicago, was born January 25, 1909 in Chicago to Charles and Lizzie (nee Bode) Schlichenmaier. She died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Devonshire of Hoffman Estates.

Mrs. Wertz was a homemaker

Her survivors include her son Kenneth; her son-in-law Don Korff, her grandchildren Glenn (Debra) Korff, Lynn Korff and Sandy (Jose) Aguilar; her great grandchildren Kathryn, Matthew and Annie Korff, Emmalynn and Joshua Aquilar.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Herman, her daughter Barbara Korff, her parents and her siblings

Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Irving Park Cemetery.
