Pieter Lynn Stoutenburg

Pieter Lynn “Pete” Stoutenburg was born November 27, 1946 to Frank Smith and Lillian Louise (nee Herrick) Stoutenburg in Rochester, NY. He died February 18, 2008 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Stoutenburg worked for Allstate Insurance Company from 1970 to 2005. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Pieter was a member of the Schwaben Athletic Club and a soccer referee for 25 years. He graduated from the Keller School of Business Management and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was a member of Kildeer Countryside School Dist. #96 board and a board member for the March of Dimes.

Pieter’s survivors include his wife Donna (nee Stack), whom he married May 19, 2007; his children Peter Michael, Christine Stoutenburg, Sara Berry; his stepchildren Danielle Pepa and Melissa Conlin; his grandchildren Madison, Callie, Tanner, Camryn, Amelia and Gabrielle and step-grandchildren Mitchell and Brandon Pepa; and his mother.

He is preceded in death by his father and his brother Mark.

Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Wednesday and Thursday, February 20 & 21, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and from Noon until time of Funeral service at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment private. Memorial Service 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 23, 2008 in the chapel at Willow Creek Community Church 67 E. Algonquin, South Barrington.
