Donald Coduto
Of Arlington Heights
Donald Coduto was born July
24, 1931 in Chicago to
Leonard and Mildred (nee
Altobelli) Coduto. He died
Monday, February 11, 2008,
surrounded by his family, at
Lutheran General Hospital in
Park Ridge, Illinois.
Mr. Coduto was a plumbing
contractor and owner of
Collins Plumbing in
Arlington Heights since
1973. He was a member of
Chicago Plumbers Union #130.
He is a former officer of
the Chicago Police
Department.
Donald served in the Army
during the Korean War and
received the Korean War
Service Medal. He was a
member of Bloomingdale VFW
Post #7539.
His survivors include his
wife Phyllis nee Kotowski
whom he married November 18,
1978; his children Mark
Coduto of Shelbyville,
Tenn., Donna Newell of
Woodstock, Georgia, Laura
(Bill Burkhalter) Musso
Burkhalter of Arlington
Heights, and Donald
(Melissa) Coduto of Chicago;
his grandchildren Andrew,
Madison and Spencer; his
sister Gloria (Salvatore)
Franzese, brother Angelo
(Dorothy) Coduto. He was
loved by many nieces,
nephews, cousins and
friends. He was “Uncle Don”
to all.
Donald is preceded in death
by his parents and his son
Michael.

Plaines.
