Kenneth J. Cortesi was born on January 17, 1942 in Chicago to Bruno and Victoria (nee Lusciatti) Cortesi. He passed away on February 11, 2008 in Arlington Heights.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois E. (nee Keller), his children, Nicholas Cortesi of Chicago, Michael Cortesi of Arlington Heights, Kristin (Jimmy) Andersson of Grayslake and Kelliann Cortesi of Arlington Heights, his granddaughter, Ella Torina Andersson, his mother Victoria Cortesi, his sister, Lola (Frank) Marlovits and his brother Gary Cortesi.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruno Cortesi.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
