Nathan P. Navarro, former
long-time resident of
Arlington Heights, was born
December 25, 1932 in Auburn,
New York, to Joseph and
Josephine (nee Lovati)
Navarro. He died Friday,
February 1, 2008 at
Northwest Community
Healthcare Center.
Mr. Navarro was an executive
vice president of Universal
Superabraisves. He served in
the US Army with SCARWAF
during the Korean War.
Nathan is survived by his
wife of 48 years, Marcella
J. “Marcie” nee Joroleman;
his children David
(Gretchen) Navarro of
Wheaton, Dr. Michelle
Navarro of Schaumburg and
Jennifer Navarro-Tovo of
Wheaton; his grandchildren
Shane Navarro Wegner,
Clayton Tovo, Mia Navarro,
Chloe Tovo, Nathan Navarro
and Anika Navarro; his
sisters Rose Bishop and Carm
Spoto; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; his brothers
Paul and James Navarro and
his nephew James Navarro.
Visitation from 3:00 until
9:00 PM, Monday, February 3,
2008 at the Glueckert
Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
Arlington Heights Rd., (4
blocks south of Palatine
Rd.) Arlington Heights and
Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at
St. Edna Catholic Church
2525 N. Arlington Heights
Road, Arlington Heights,
from 10:00 AM until time of
Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Committal Service 2:00 PM at
St. Michael the Archangel
Cemetery, Palatine.
