Margaret A. DeGroot

Margaret A. DeGroot was born June 22, 1939 in Chicago to William and Lorraine (nee Knudsen) O’Brien. She died February 26, 2006 at her home in Lisle.

Margaret is survived by her children, Michael (Laura) DeGroot of Lisle, Timothy (Kristi) DeGroot of Northbrook, Steven (Tami) DeGroot of Wauconda, and Jennifer (Ben) Tarsitano of Algonquin; her grandchildren, Heather, Dana, Steven, and Michael; her great granddaughter, Hailey Leigh Michl; her siblings William, Maureen and Colleen; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation from 4:00 until 9:00 Friday, March 3, 2006 with a memorial service at 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago, 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
