Helen Hunkler was born September 3, 1918 in Chicago to Peter and Helen (nee Bittenbinder) Michels. She died February 22, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Hunkler was a homemaker.

Helen is survived by her children, Marilyn (John Barrar) Hunkler of Cotter, AR and Kenneth R. (Katherine) Hunkler; and her granddaughters, Kristine, Kimberly, and Katelyn.

She is preceded by her husband, Kenneth A. Hunkler

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation 1:30 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM Saturday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment private.
