Joy D. Hauptmann

Joy D. Hauptmann of Lisle for the last 5 years was born August 25, 1919 in Chicago to Ernest V. and Margaret A. (nee Reil) Hauptmann. She died February 21, 2006 at Snow Valley Center in Lisle.

Ms. Hauptmann was a 65 year resident of Arlington Heights and was formerly employed by both Grigsby-Allison and later Dana Molded Products. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Arlington Heights Chapter #992 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Joy is survived by her daughter, Carol (Paul) Dinger of Naperville; her granddaughter, Laura Dinger; and her sisters-in-law Elaine and Sara Hauptmann; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson Brian Eagan; and her siblings, Vincenz, Donald E., Margaret A., and Ruth Hauptmann.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, with an Order of the Eastern Star Service officiated by Worthy Matron Joy Sykes at 7:00 PM. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter # 992 1104 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60005.
