Thomas A. Treutler
Of Des Plaines

Thomas A. Treutler, a long-time resident of Arlington Heights, was born May 21, 1955 in Arlington Heights to Warren and Virginia (nee Killian) Treutler. He died Friday, February 17, 2006 at home.

Mr. Treutler was a computer engineer for Haeger Engineering in Schaumburg. He was a 1973 graduate of John Hersey High School where he participated in the marching band and then graduated from DePaul University in 1978 with a degree in Music Education. Thomas was a life-long musician, a dog lover who attended shows and participated in showing dogs, enjoyed spending time at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, Wisconsin and was a Corvette fanatic.

Thomas was the beloved son of Warren and Virginia; loving brother of Pamela (Peter) Matteson, Donald Treutler and Timothy (Deborah) Treutler; and the adored uncle of Benjamin, Bradley, Allison, Amanda, Elizabeth and Emily.

Visitation 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Devil's Lake State Park Nature Center, South 5975 Park Rd., Baraboo, WI 53913.
