Elizabeth Ayres

Elizabeth Ayres was born March 9, 1929 in Chicago to Peter and Ethel (nee Norris) Norton. She died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her husband 45 years John Ayres, whom she married October 8, 1960; her daughter Mary Beth Ayres of Glenview; her sisters Nancy (Jerome) Enzweiler and Rita (Charlie) Kaiser; her sister-in-law Mary Albright; and she was dear "Aunt Betty" to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Mary Ethel (Jack) Crowder and Patricia (James) Egan.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, and Thursday February 16, 2006 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
