Ronald E. Stoker
Of Rolling Meadows
Ronald E. Stoker, was born May 19, 1938 in Staten Island, New York to
Elmer F. and Mae H. (nee Bryson) Stoker. He died Thursday, February 3,
2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Stoker graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. In 1956,
Princeton University with a BSCHE in 1960 and from the Chicago Kent
College of Law, IIT with a Juris Doctorate in 1973. He worked as a
chemical engineer for Universal Oil Products and Kaiser Engineers and
later was a self- employed attorney and financial services consultant
with an office in Palatine.
His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patricia nee Bacastow, whom
he married February 9, 1963 in Brookfield, Illinois; his children Diana
(Edward) Fellure of Bloomington, Indiana, Carol (Ken Krzywicki) Stoker
of Chicago, Julie Stoker of Arlington Heights, Susan (Andrew) Morris of
Indianapolis, Indiana and Steven Stoker of Rolling Meadows; his
grandchildren Kathleen, John and Caroline; his sister Wanda Van Woert;
his nephews David and Peter and many other nieces and nephews.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service 11:00 AM, Monday, February 7, 2005 at Arlington
Heights Evangelical Free Church, 1330 N. Douglas Ave. Arlington Heights.
Visitation Sunday, February 6, 2005 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Monday from 10:00 until
10:45 AM in the Parlor at Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church.
Interment private.
