Donnie Campbell was born on June 24, 1918 in Livermore Falls, Maine to James and Laura (nee Houde) Kelley. She died Friday, January 24, 2014 in Arlington Heights.

Donnie worked as a Office Manager for Svoboda Clothiers in Arlington Heights and Edlong Corporation in Elk Grove Village. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights.  She received a music major at Mount St. Vincent in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Donnie was active with Country Chords Chorus of the Northwest Suburbs, and was a world traveler.  Donnie love to spend time with her family and was loved by all.
 
Donnie is survived by her son, James (Betheny) Campbell; sister, Catherine “Kitty” Kelley and nephew Michael Scully.
 
She was preceded in death by spouse, John Kenneth Campbell, whom she married in August of 1945; sister, Ruth Scully.
 
Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004.  Prayer Service 10:00 am Wednesday, January 29, 2014  at the funeral home. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
