Jean R. Finato

Jean R. Finato was born on November 25, 1924 in Chicago to Anthony and Lucy (nee Lecce) DeLaurentis. She passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in Arlington Heights.

Jean is survived by her husband, John Finato; her children, Larry (Renee) Finato, Laura (Brian Anderson) Finato, Julianne (Charles) Thornton and Ray Finato; her grandchildren, Cassie Thornton, Alexis Finato, Jessica Finato, Will Thornton, Sam Thornton, Joey Finato and Nicolo Finato; her great-grandchild, Blake Sanders; and her sisters, Rose Barrutia and Gloria Siciliano.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Frances Costanzo, Lucy Picucci and  Antoinette Gruener; and her brother, Jerry DeLaurentis.

Visitation  from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers  8:45 am Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 am.  Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 North Ridge Ave. Chicago, IL 60660 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
