Maria Albert was born April 28, 1929 in Yugoslavia to Johann and Marianne (nee Guster) Kordelyos.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Veronika Blasek of Tucson, Ariz. and Ilse Lieberthal of Wheeling, Anton of Elgin, Martin Jr. of Northbrook and Heidi Albert of Arlington Heights. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Christopher, James, Scott, Andy, Tanya, Kyle, Jeremy, Brian and Ian; great grandmother of Tommy, Jade, Emily, Kaden and Alexander; fond sister of Paul (Stephie), Annie (Fritz), Sep (Hedwig), Rosie (late Josef) and Erwin (late Lizzie).

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Martin Albert Sr., and by her brothers George (late Maria) and Hans (late Marie) Kordelyos.

Visitation Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
