Yaeko Uyenishi was born on August 23, 1919 in Independence, OR to Tsurujuro and Kiyo (nee Takaki) Saito. She passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Yaeko is survived by her children, Nancy (Keith) Jones, Leslie Uyenishi and Victor Uyenishi; her grandchildren, Keith Jr., Peter and Midori Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Iwao "Peter" Uyenishi.

Visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of services at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment private.
