Stephanie T. Kopec

Stephanie T. Kopec was born August 18, 1946 in Chicago to Frank and Mary (nee Krzyzak) Misiak. She died January 29, 2013 at her home in Buffalo Grove.

Stephanie received her Masters Degree in technology in education from National Louis University. She worked as an educator for the Chicago Archdiocese for over 10 years. She enjoyed yoga, playing mahjong and spending time with her family and friends, especially with her young granddaughter.

Stephanie is survived by Tom Kopec; her children Cassandra (Jim Conn, III) Kopec, Brad (Megan) Kopec; her granddaughter Emily Kopec.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 3 PM until 8 PM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10 AM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Dystonia Medical Research foundation, 1 E. Wacker Drive, Suite #2900, Chicago, IL 60601-2001.
