Walter Riemschneider

Walter Riemschneider, formerly of Arlington Heights was born on April 23, 1944 in Yugoslavia to Franz and Teresia Riemschneider. He died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at home in Buffalo Grove.

Mr. Riemschneider was a real estate broker for Hometown Real Estate. He was a well-known real estate broker throughout the Northwest Suburban area. Friend of Bill W. for 35 years. Walter enjoyed playing the drums for many years.

Walter is survived by his loving friend, Maxine Riemschneider; his children, Lisa (Stanton) Groth, Christine (Bill) Buchner, Max Riemschneider, Angela Riemschneider and Rebecca Riemschneider; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Jessica Jensen), Adam, Elisabeth, Analise, Spencer, and Caroline; his great-granddaughter, Talula; his sister, Elisabeth Alcakovic; and his Nephew, Robert Alcakovic.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 2:00 pm until time of Prayer Service 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Interment is private.
