Joseph Lawrence Bunzol formerly of the Sauganash neighborhood in Chicago was born on September 24, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Anthony and Lena (nee Sanfilippo) Bunzol. He died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Rainbow Hospice Ark in Park Ridge, IL.

Mr. Bunzol worked as a design engineer for Rauland Zenith for many years before retiring.

Joseph is survived by his children Joseph W. (Judith) Bunzol, Thomas (Linda) Bunzol, Melody (Dr. James) Sadleir and Robert (Lynette) Bunzol; his grandchildren Jennifer (Frank) Sciacca, James J. Bunzol, James Sadleir, Daniel Sadleir, Dr. Daniel Bunzol, Matthew Bunzol, Drew Bunzol; and his great grandchildren Emma and Savannah Sciacca.

He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Catherine Bunzol, and his parents.

Memorial visitation from 3:30 until 7:30 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL. Memorial Mass, 9:30 AM, Monday, January 14, 2013 at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell Ave., Arlington Hts., IL 60005.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Rainbow Hospice Ark, 1601 N. Western, Park Ridge, IL 60068
