Melvin L. Clawson

Melvin L. Clawson was born on April 17, 1916 in Peck, KS to David and Mary (nee Swartz) Clawson. He died Monday, January 7, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Melvin is survived by his daughters, Karen (Jim) Meier and Linda (Chet) Ziebka; his grandchildren, Gregory (Karol) Meier, Christopher Meier, Jeremy (Michelle Hilliard) Ziebka, Jason (Bridget) Ziebka and Cheryl (Bryan) Brenner; and his great-grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Emma, Kyli and Kate Ziebka, Charlotte and Evan Brenner and Alexander and Jessica Meier

He was preceded in death by Wife, Elaine J. Clawson and his parents.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and Friday, January 11, 2013 from 10:30 AM until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3309 W. Seminary, Chicago. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Resurrection Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity.
