Linda Tomaino
Linda was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin to the
late Kenneth W. and Hilda Marie (Kvint) Bogstad.
She passed away at home on December 30, 2012.
Linda graduated from Ripon College in Ripon,
Wisconsin where she met her husband of 31 years,
Gregory. Linda spent many years employed in the
insurance industry, most of them as a Business
Analyst with Zurich American Insurance Company
in Schaumburg, Illinois where she pursued her
CPCU accreditation.
Linda maintained an active interest and
extensive knowledge of the antiques and
collectibles market, and was considered an
expert in salt and pepper shaker collections and
Ceramic Arts Studio creations. Later she pursued
this hobby full time, primarily associated with
Benson Corners Antique Mall in Bristol,
Wisconsin.
Linda always held a special love and rapport
with animals of all kinds, both wild and
domestic. She held a special affection for her
beloved pets Nikki, Natasha, Shadow, Tiger, and
Lightning, all of whom preceded her. Along with
her husband Greg, she is survived by her
dedicated feline companions Gracie and Georgie.

Illinois Samoyed Assistance, Inc., P.O. Box 218,
Arlington Heights, IL 60006, or the Orphans of
the Storm Animal Shelter, 2200 Riverwoods Road,
P.O. Box 31, Deerfield, Illinois 60015 would be
appreciated. The family has made private
arrangements.
