George S. Colangelo
Of Buffalo Grove
George S. Colangelo was born on October 29, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to
Julius and Mary (nee Gragido) Colangelo. He died Thursday, January 19,
2012 in Wheeling.
George is survived by children, Mary (Gene) Childers, Joe (Merry)
Colangelo, Georgiann (Barry) Krulewitch and Chris (Karole) Colangelo;
and his grandchildren, Nick, Dan, Chris, Tyler, Lizzie, Justin, Clifford, Anthony, Kailey, Grace and Will; his great-granddaughter, Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carmen (nee Trentadue);
and his siblings, Albert Colangelo, Caroline DeMarte and Julius
Colangelo.
Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, January 22, 2012 at
Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington
Heights, Illinois. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 23, 2012 at the
funeral home to Saint Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo
Grove for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the St. Vincent DePaul
Society at Saint Mary Parish.
