Bernice E. Amundsen
Of Wheeling, formerly of Chicago
Bernice E. Amundsen (nee Fritz) was born on July 6, 1919 in Chicago,
Illinois to John and Ella Fritz. She died Thursday, January 12, 2012 in
Wheeling.
Bernice loved to ballroom dance with her husband, George, to the sounds
of the "Big Bands". She played an important part in welcoming new
residents to Addolorata Villa. Bernice loved to spend time with her
family and her numerous friends, and was loved by all.
Bernice is survived by her nephews, Wayne, Walter, Thomas, John "Jack",
James, William, Gary, and Jeffrey Fritz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, George W. Amundsen;
Brothers, Walter, John, and Harold Fritz.
Visitation from 8:15 am until 9:15 am, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at
Addolorata Villa., 555 McHenry Road, Wheeling, Illinois followed by a
Funeral Mass 9:30 am, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Addolorata
Villa Chapel. Entombment will take place at All Saints Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Addolorata Villa 557
McHenry Road, Wheeling, IL 60090.
