William Russow
Formerly of Schaumburg
William Russow was born April 10, 1938 in Chicago to Raymond and Eleanor (Blodel) Russow. He died December 30, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, WI.
Bill worked as a technician for SBC, formerly Illinois Bell for 37 years and retired in 1993. After retirement Bill and Joan moved to Northern Wisconsin where he enjoyed boating and fishing.
Bill is survived by his wife Joan (nee Gamester) Russow; his children James (Patti) and David Russow; his grandchildren Alyssa, Lauren, Jordan and Nathan; his siblings Robert (Melodee) Russow; his nephews Tim (Vicki) and Randy (Laura) Russow.
Bill is preceded in death by his son Ricky, step son Keith and by his parents.
Visitation Thursday January 5. 2012 from 3 PM until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11 AM, Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Randhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family which will be donated to pancreatic research in Bill’s memory.
