Petro Gursky
Of Arlington Heights
Petro Gursky, formerly of Chicago, was born August 28, 1919 in Saharko,
Ukraine. He passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his home in
Arlington Heights.
Petro enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Petro is survived by his children, Peter (Barbara) Gursky of Norridge,
Bohdan “Bo” (Regina) Gursky of Arlington Heights, and Marge (Joe) Rangel
of Arlington Heights; his granddaughters, Julie and Catherine.
Petro is preceded in death by his wife, Anna (nee Niedzwiecki) Gursky,
whom he married on June 25, 1947 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks
south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday,
January 9, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James
Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at
10:00 AM. Burial is at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
