Cinchona “Connie” L. Witmer
Of Rolling Meadows

Cinchona “Connie” L. Witmer was born on January 28, 1924 to Edward and Emma (nee Reiger) Herr in Wishek, North Dakota. She passed away January 21, 2011 at the Pepper Family Hospice Home in Barrington.

She worked at Harris Bank for 35 years before her retirement. Cinchona enjoyed camping, square dancing and was a member of the Grace Community Church in Palatine.

Cinchona is survived by her children, Bob Witmer, Candy (Jim) Johnson, James (Marcia) Witmer III and Wanda (Eddie) Hirchert, her grandchildren, Beth, Billy, Elly, JR, Melody, Shawn, James, Dallas, Brian, Amy and Tim, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren; and her sister Janice Krein.

She is preceded in death by her husband James A. Witmer and her son, Bill Witmer, Sr.

Visitation Saturday January 22, 2011 from 1 PM until the time of service at 3:30 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
