Barry Thomas Juhl
Of Arlington Heights

Barry Thomas Juhl was born on August 23, 1945 in Chicago to Stanley and Theresa (nee Ostermann) Juhl. He passed away on January 20, 2011 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Juhl served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Village of Arlington Heights for over 40 years, 33 of which he served as a Police Officer. Barry was an avid golfer and a lifelong White Sox fan.

He is survived by his wife Karen (nee Yingst); his children, Christen Fisher, Jason (Heather) Cash, Jonathan (Nicole) Juhl, Sean (Monica) Juhl, Whitney (David) Tobin and Nathan (Stacy) Cash; his grandchildren, Nathan, Reece, Lars, Tyler, Jacob, Raegan and Rylan; his siblings, Valerie (James) Arnesen, Susan (Barry) Wooley and Lori (Gerard) Goetz.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 25, 2011at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
