Dorothy M. Anderson was born on November 28, 1922 to Vincent and Loretta (nee Gallagher) Praet in Chicago. She passed away on January 7, 2011 in Hoffman Estates.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Bill) Ahlman and Nancy (Ray) Pysher; her grandchildren, Cynthia (Cody) McKee, Richard (Bess) Ahlman, Michael (Michele) Ahlman, Michelle (John) Bostian and Keven (Gina) Crick and 15 great grandchildren; and her sister, Lorraine (the late Oscar) DeMeyer.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Anderson and her brother, Robert (the late Charlotte) Praet.

Visitation Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 400 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a favorite charity.
