Josephine M. Glewicz

Josephine M. Glewicz was born August 22, 1923 in Chicago to Felix and Cecilia (nee Dobek) Rykaczewski. She passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Abington of Glenview.

She is survived by her children, Conrad Glewicz, Marie (Anthony) Nalepa, Phyllis (James) King, and William (Steven Kaczmarek) Glewicz; her grandchildren, Julie and Nicholas Glewicz, Michael, Kristin, and James Nalepa, and Matthew and Daniel King; and her sister, Theresa (the late Harry) Yeater.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Glewicz; her son, James William; her parents; and her siblings, Lorretta (the late John) Zachman, Dr. Aloisius Rykaczewski, and Sr. M. Humiliata Rykaczewski.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 appreciated.
