Patricia Ann McCollum was born on August 31, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA to Edmond and Phyllis (nee Zito) Winstel. She died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her home.

Mom, Grandma “Pat,” was young at heart, filled with laughter and deepest love for every member of her family. She always remembered all birthdays, loved animals, shopping, travel, Christmas and made the best lasagna in the world. Your generous spirit and glowing light will shine on forever in each one of us. We Love You Mom.

Patricia is survived by her husband Harry McCollum of 53 years whom she married on September 8, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA; her children, Kathy (Steve) Butler of Wheeling, Patty (Steve) Barker of Arlington Heights, Harry (Ann) McCollum of Arlington Heights, Greg (Sharon) McCollum of Arlington Heights and Barbara (Dwain) Holden of Harvard; her grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Edwards, Jessica and Krista Butler, Andrew, Trevor and Frank Barker, Harry and Joe, Ryan, Megan and Shannon McCollum, Tyler, and Carissa Holden; her siblings, Ed Winstel, Bob Winstel, Phyllis Miller

She was preceded in death by her parents her sister Lorene “Rene” Thompson.

Visitation from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 25, 2010 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. proceeding to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for 10:00 AM Mass. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
