Raymond Walter Schreiber was born February 27, 1952 in Chicago to Robert C. and Ruth J. (nee Brankey) Schreiber. He died on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Wheeling.

Ray was a great father. He was an artist, a musician, an athlete and a successful business man. Ray was sports fan and a suffering Cubs fan. His talent for telling a story kept us all entertained.

His survivors include his son, John Schreiber; his mother; his siblings, Roberta (Joe) Muran, Ron (Marie) Schreiber, and Bob (Lauri) Schreiber; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Ricky Schreiber.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
