Craig Roberts Chalk

Craig Roberts Chalk was born August 27, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Allen B. and Jeanne (nee Roberts) Chalk. He died on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood.

Craig owned and operated Chalklines Printing Ltd. since 1998 and previously was an owner of Sommers & Fahrenbach, Inc. from 1992 until 1998.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda (nee Sommers) Chalk whom he married June 11, 1972; his son Christopher; his mother-in-law Phyllis Sommers; his sister-in-law, Beth (Daniel) Trapani; his niece, Sarah Trapani and his nephew, Dominic Trapani; and his uncles, Donald (Jacqueline) Haynes and Howard (Janis) Roberts.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law, William T. Sommers

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:15 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004 for Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. James Church Building Fund.
