Lillian E. Fornero
Of Arlington Heights
Lillian E. Fornero was born December 7, 1922 in Flanagan, Illinois to
Walter and Esther B. (nee Bedeker) Jensen. She passed away peacefully
Saturday, January 16, 2010 at home.
Lillian was an exceptional person with a huge heart. She loved her
children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren so very much. Lillian
worked for Parker-Hannifin in Des Plaines for over 35 years. Her
favorite pastimes were playing the piano, gardening, and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Mary Clare) Fornero, Mary
(Billy) Overman, Bridget (Robert) Hill, Kathy (Gary) Miller, John
Fornero, and her most cherished 13 grandchildren and 6
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Dean (Sarah)
Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Fornero; her son
Stephen, a sister and brother, and her parents.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2010
at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4
blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 9:00 AM until
time of Mass 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. Edna Catholic
Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment
will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The American
Parkinson Disease Assoc. Glenbrook Medical Office Bldg. South, 2050
Pfingsten Rd. Suite 127, Glenview, IL 60025 or St. Edna Church.
