Arthur Tallidis

Arthur Tallidis was born January 18, 1921 in Kastoria, Greece, to Nicholas and Anastasia Tallidis. He died on Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Skokie.

Arthur was a devoted and loving husband, father, and super grandfather. He was a self-employed furrier and served in the Greek Army during WW II.

His survivors include his children Nick (Stephanie) Tallidis of Arlington Heights, and Andrea (Bill) Donahue of Muskego, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Allison (Josh) Stransky, Nicholas Donahue, Zoe, Nicholas, and Samuel Tallidis.

Arthur is preceded in death by his wife, Helen (nee Triantafilos) Tallidis, his parents and his twelve siblings.

Visitation from 10:30 AM until time of service at 1:30 PM, Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
