Donald E. Putzier was born on February 20, 1930 in Chicago to Edward and Libby (nee Krejci) Putzier. He passed away on January 8, 2010 in Arlington Heights.

He is survived by his children, Julie (Win) Helgesen of Wheaton and Jay Putzier of Palatine; and his granddaughter, Kailey Helgesen.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (nee Flitcraft) and his son, Peter Putzier.

Memorial service 2:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights. Interment private.
