Evelyn Voight was born February 8, 1922 in Chicago to Fred and Louise (nee Kern) Abbate. She died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Manor Care in Rolling Meadows.

She is survived by her sons, Gregg (Margurite McClure), Gary (Peggy), and Glenn (Georgine) Voight; and her grandchildren, Tony, Caitlin, Sarah, Matthew, Emily, and Marybeth.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Voight, whom she married October 1, 1949 in Chicago.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Monday, January 4 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment is private.
