James E. Reese
Of Arlington Heights

James E. Reese was born December 29, 1948 in Alamosa, Colorado to Elton and Lucille (nee Schaefer) Reese. He died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Before retiring last year Mr. Reese was had a 35 year career in sales and marketing with DSM Deostech, Inc., most recently as New Business Development Manager.

He received his BA in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his MBA from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Jim was a member and former chairman for Radtech, a member and Company Representative of IWCS (International Wire and Cable Symposium) and a former member of the Forest View Tennis Club.

James’ survivors include his wife Carole Ann nee Menna whom he married August 31, 1974; his mother; his sister Kathy (David) Mutz of Monument, Colorado; and his niece Mackenzie.

Jim is preceded in death by his loved daughter Amanda and his father.

Visitation from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 30, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Corporation for National and Community Service, Attn: Disaster Relief Fund / Hurricane Volunteer Support Fund
