James S. Roberts

James “Jamie” Roberts was born July 15, 1972 in Park Ridge to Jim and Eleanor Roberts. He died January 16, 2009.

James was a computer engineering graduate of Northwestern University, a member of Chi Phi Fraternity and a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society. He developed several patents while working for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as a micro chip design engineer.

Jamie is survived by his father Jim (Bonnie) Roberts and his mother Eleanor Roberts; his sisters Deanne (Andy) Panagopoulos and Kim (Bob) Holstein and his nieces and nephews Ashley, Sarah, Dean, Bobby, Sebastian, Paul and Ty.

Visitation Wednesday. January 21, 2009 from 3 PM until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10 AM, Thursday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
