Joseph A. Tortorello
Of Arlington Heights

Joseph A. Tortorello was born April 15, 1920 in Chicago to Rocco and Angeline (nee Peluso) Tortorello. He died January 11, 2009 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Before retiring Mr. Tortorello was a draftsman for Clow Corporation in Chicago and Glen Ellyn. He served two terms as Grand Knight of the Fr. F.X. Breen Knights of Columbus Council #1899 and was a founding member of the Er-Ohs SAC.

Joseph is survived by his brother Patrick Tortorello; and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marie and his brothers Salvatore, Peter and Rocco.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Christ the King Crypts, Hillside, Illinois.
