John Lloyd Walding was born on May 20, 1927 in Chicago to John E. and Gertrude (nee Anderson) Walding. He passed away on January 8, 2009 in Libertyville.

Lloyd was a Navy verteran who owned and operated Walding Construction Company until his retirement in 1990.

He is survived by his brother, Gene (the late Mary Louise) Walding; his nephews, Carl (Catherine) and John (Peggy) Walding; and his great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Lisa, Ashley, Sarah, Scott and Kristen.

Visitation Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens.
