Sophia Wasilewski

Sophia Wasilewski was born April 14, 1915 in Chicago Heights to Blaise and Ann (nee Wegrzyn) Wasilewski. She died January 4, 2009 at her home.

Sophia is survived by her sister Stephanie (late Gerald) Sullivan; her nieces and nephews Mary Lou (Robert) Pope, Jerome (Barbara) Spector, Judy DiGiacomo, Nancy Sullivan, Donald (Britt Tove) Sullivan and Janet (Dennis Creaney) Sullivan and by many grand and great nieces and nephews.

Sophia is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Frances (Stanley) Kaczmarek and Mary (Jerry) Spector; her nieces Betty Kaczmarek, Dorothy Brooks, Carol (John) Vitulli and by her nephew James (JoAnne) Kaczmarek.

Visitation from 4 until 9 PM, Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
